Luis at Angel pagsasamahin sa reality program

Anytime soon, magbabalik-himpapawid ang reality program na Pilipinas Got Talent (PGT).

Well, balitang si Luis Manzano uli ang maghu-host ng programa.

He also hosted the show last time, where one of the judges was Angel Locsin.

Kasama rin kaya muli si Angel sa panel of judges this time? If ever, magandang abangan ang muling “pagsasama” ng mag-ex sa isang TV program.

Panganay nina Maricel Laxa at Anthony na si Donny, papasang heartthrob

Artistahin itong si Donny Pangilinan, now a regular deejay ng MYX, the music channel, at panganay sa dalawang anak na lalaki ng showbiz personalities na sina Maricel Laxa at Anthony Pangilinan.

Good-looking and tall (six feet) he is a probable heartthrob. Lalo’t kung magiging kasing husay siyang umarte tulad ng kanyang mommy and grandma (former actress Imelda Ilanan).

Former action star Tony Ferrer is Donny’s Lolo. On Maricel’s side.

On Anthony’s side, he has for his relatives, of course, Angeli Pangilinan, na ang husband ay ang music icon na si Gary Valenciano. Kaya, cousins niya ang mga kilalang performers na sina Gab at Kiana Valenciano, and of course, concert director Paolo Valenciano.

Donny is 19 and studied at Brent International School in Sta. Rosa, Laguna.

Aktres hindi pa ready, Nanay ni Jessy gustong maging Kapamilya si Luis

Speaking of Luis, open na siya of how he feels about Jessy Mendiola. In his message to Jessy, when the latter guested in Magandang Buhay, hosted by Karla Estrada, Melai Cantiveros, at Jolina Magdangal, he openly expressed his deep love for her and her pagiging grateful that Jessy came into his life.

Sa particular guesting na iyon ni Jessy, kasama niya onstage ang kanyang ina at kapatid.

In any case, ayon sa mother ni Jessy, boto sila kay Luis na mapabilang sa kanilang pamilya.

In a serparate interview naman ni Jessy kay Boy Abunda in the latter’s show, Tonight With Boy Abunda, tinanong siya ni Boy kung ano ang kanyang magiging reaction if the day comes that Luis proposes marriage to her.

She will be happy and elated, of course, sagot niya sa tanong ni Boy. But on second thought, Jessy said, may ilan pa siyang gustong gawin for her fa­mily.

Which, we feel, kung sabagay, Luis will understand.

Well, no need to tell you that Jessy has a mo­vie, Salvage, isa sa 12 films na entries sa Pista ng Pelikulang Pilipino (PPP), a project of the Film Development Council of the Philippines (FDCP), headed by Liza Diño-Seguerra.

The PPP is scheduled from August 16 to 22. On these dates, only Filipino films will be screened in theaters nationwide.

Singer-actress na nagbabalik pi­na­ganda rin ang ilong

Ilong din ang obvious, Salve A., na ‘nabago’ sa isang former singer-actress na under contract sa Viva Films, but who decided to try her luck bilang theater actress sa isang kilalang theater company abroad and succeeded naman.

She is back on town and apparently and wants to try her luck anew rito sa local showbiz.

Well, ‘di na siya talent ng talent agency na Viva Films, the Viva Artists Talent Agency. Another talent agency is handling her.
