Ano’ng sey mo, Meryll?! Anak ni Erap hiwalay na raw kay Bernard

YSTAR - Baby E - Pang-masa

Will Meryll Soriano kaya honor a request na mag-comment siya tungkol sa kasalukuyang kumakalat na balita na hiwalay na sina Bernard Palanca at Jerika Ejercito?

Meryll and Bernard were formerly married, we all know. They have a son, now nearly eight years old.

Jerika is the only daughter nina Manila Mayor Joseph Estrada and former actress Laarni Enriquez.

Bernard and Jerika are parents to a baby girl, who is turning one-year old soon.

Si Meryll ang leading lady ni John Lloyd Cruz in the controversial Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) entry, Honor Thy Father.

Bernard is currently cast in the soon-to-be aired TV5 series, Bakit Manipis ang Ulap?, co starring him, among others, with Claudine Barretto, Diether Ocampo at Cesar Montano.

Candy magsusulat ng libro tungkol sa Autism

Seriously, comedienne Candy Pangilinan will soon write and publish a book on autism. In  collaboration of course, with autism expert, Dr. Francis Dimalanta.

Candy who is separated from her non-showbiz husband, never made secret the fact that her son, now 12 years old, was afflicted with Autism.

But now, thank God, that has been ruled out. Instead, na-diagnosed siya ngayon na may ADHD (read: Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder).

The boy goes to a special school. At nakakapag-salita at nakikipag-usap na ito ngayon.

Candy hope and pray that eventually, totally gumaling na ang kanyang anak at maging normal na ito.

Candy has been working non-stop lately. She is in the cast of the currently showing Viva Films’ Lumayo Ka Nga Sa Akin.

Nagte-taping siya for the upcoming TV series, Tasya Fantasya, where she plays kapatid ni John “Sweet” Lapus.

Playing the title role of Tasya Fantasya is Shy Carlos. Leading man naman niya si Mark Neumann.

Sweet nagpapaka-busy para sa pinapaayos na bahay

Speaking of Sweet (yes, that’s how he wants to be addressed), he is busy as well with the soap on ABS-CBN, Doble Kara.

Doble Kara, of course, has Julia Montes playing a dual role, bilang sina Kara at Sara.

Also in the cast are Carmina Villaroel, Edgar Allan Guzman, Sam Milby, Maxene Magalona, Alicia Alonzo, Gloria Sevilla, Mylene Dizon at Ariel Rivera, among others.

Sweet also has a talk show about showbiz sa online.

“Kailangan for me na maging busy,” ani Sweet in an interview. “Pinare-renovate ko ang aming bahay. And it’s expensive.”

Sayang nga pala at di namin naitanong kay Sweet kung bakit hindi na sila as close as they used to ni Kris Aquino.

Bakit nga ba, Sweet, ‘di na kayo sweet ni Kris?

Ate Vi binilinan ang mga sikat na ‘wag magmaldita para tumagal

Batangas Governor Vilma Santos considers actors and actresses, lalo na if they are considered na top in the trade, as special. As she says, they are not only treated well but paid “overly” as well.

May mga “bonus” pa silang natatanggap, kapag overwhelming ang kinita sa takilya ng kanilang pelikula.

Add to this the fact, na they do endorsements as well, which pay well, too.

But as the Star for all Season said, hindi rason ito para magmalaki na ang artista, once they reach, kumbaga, the apex of popularity. Dahil, tulad ng matandang kasabihan, once you are up there, may tendency to go or drop down.

Kaya, ang pangaral niya sa mga artista, lalo’t iyong mga nakasama na niya sa ilang projects, is to make sure to keep their feet on the ground. Matuto silang makisama, magmahal sa trabaho. At higit sa lahat, mag-ipon.

Ate Vi’s new movie, Everything About Her, with Angel Locsin, Xian Lim and Joyce Bernal directing, is scheduled to open sa January 27 in cinemas nationwide. It is produced by Star Cinema.
