Politics is a profession that Luis Manzano will soon ‘‘embrace,’’ too, like his mother Batangas Gov. Vilma Santos-Recto and stepdad, Sen. Ralph Recto.

Huwag kalimutan na, at one time, too, ay na-involve rin sa pulitika ang ama ni Lucky na si Edu Manzano. ’Di nga ba at nag-serve siya for one term bilang Makati vice mayor?

In any case, ayon kay Luis, politics will have to wait. His mom, he said, advised him to prepare for it.

His mom was the mayor there for three terms.

How about marriage, will it have to wait as well?

Luis was asked when he guested in the show of Kris Aquino and Boy Abunda, ang Aquino and Abunda Tonight, recently. After all, alam ng lahat how much in love he and Angel Locsin are sa kasalukuyan.

After three years na nagkahiwalay, the two have reconciled.

But, of course, the first one who would know is Angel.’’

Luis also promised to update Kris about him and Angel’s wedding plans. He promised, ’di nga ba? Kris will be one of their principal sponsors.

Meanwhile, we heard that Luis will soon resume his hosting job via The Voice of the Philippines (for Kids). He will reportedly have Alex Gonzaga for his co-host.

Angel, for her part, when asked to comment about Luis’ plan to make her his legal wife, Angel smiled and said: “Naku I’d rather concentrate muna on my series, The Legal Wife.’’

Angel reveals her taping for the series, directed by Rory Quintos at Dado Lumibao, happens almost daily. Sometimes for 17 hours a day nagtatagal ang kanilang trabaho.

The Legal Wife co-stars Jericho Rosales, Maja Salvador, Christopher de Leon, JC de Vera, Rio Locsin, Joem Bascom, Mark Gil, at Bernard Palanca.

Angel said the entire cast, plus, of course, Direk Rory at Dado, together with the production staff, are just happy na ’di lang nagte-trending ang series, name-maintain din nito ang magandang rating.

Gov.

Gov. Vilma Santos-Recto, like Sen. Grace Poe-Llamanzares, denies, too, that her political plan at the moment includes na running for a higher office.

Just like the senator kasi, it’s being bruited about that Gov. Vi might run for vice president in 2016. By then kasi, her third term as Batangas governor ends.

Although balitang may ipini-prepare si Direk Wenn Deramas na movie para sa kanya and which will co-star her with Vice Ganda and AiAi delas Alas.

The film, according to Direk Wenn, is earmarked for the 2014 Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF).
