Politics is a profession that Luis Manzano will soon ‘‘embrace,’’ too, like his mother Batangas Gov. Vilma Santos-Recto and stepdad, Sen. Ralph Recto.

Huwag kalimutan na, at one time, too, ay na-involve rin sa pulitika ang ama ni Lucky na si Edu Manzano. ’Di nga ba at nag-serve siya for one term bilang Makati vice mayor?

In any case, ayon kay Luis, politics will have to wait. His mom, he said, advised him to prepare for it. Yes, bago siya pumalaot sa propesyong ito.

Kaya balak daw muna niyang mag-aral ng public administration, tulad ng ginawa ng kanyang ina, bago naging mayor ito ng Lipa City.

Like his mom, balak din muna ni Luis na mag-start sa ‘‘ibaba.’’ Kaya magsisimula muna siya bilang Lipa City mayor. His mom was the mayor there for three terms.

How about marriage, will it have to wait as well?

Luis was asked when he guested in the show of Kris Aquino and Boy Abunda, ang Aquino and Abunda Tonight, recently. After all, alam ng lahat how much in love he and Angel Locsin are sa kasalukuyan.
