Booster shots sa 18-anyos pataas aprub na

MANILA, Philippines — Pinaghahandaan ng Department of Health (DOH) ang paggamit ng COVID-19 booster shot sa mga nasa edad 18 pataas.

Ito ang inanunsyo ni Department of Health Undersecretary Myrna Cabotaje matapos na aprubahan ng Food and Drug Administration ang paggamit ng COVID-19 booster shot sa mga nasabing edad.

“The emergency use authorization (EUA) has been approved, we will just finalize the guidelines, in the next couple of days, we will have the boosters for all 18 years old and above,” saad ni Cabotaje.

Ito ay kasunod na rin ng banta na makapasok sa bansa ang bagong variant ng COVID-19 na Omicron.

Kabilang sa mga bakuna na pinapayagan para magamit sa booster shots ay ang Pfizer, AstraZeneca, Sinovac, at Sputnik Light.
