MANILA, Philippines — Pananagutin ng Department of Education (DepEd) ang mga estudyante na sangkot sa napaulat na online class cheating.

Ito ang tiniyak ni Education Secretary Leonor Briones sa nag-viral na Facebook group kung saan ang mga estudyante ay nandaraya at nagpapasahan ng sagot sa kanilang modules at exam.

Ayon kay Briones, hindi nila kukunsintihin ang ganitong pandaraya at sa halip ay kaagad na aaksyunan.

“Cheating in schools is a lingering issue. I am not justifying this, but we assure the public we will not tolerate and we are seeking assistance from authorities on who to investigate,” ayon pa kay Briones, sa Laging Handa briefing.

Binigyang-daan naman niya ang mga matatanda, na kasama ng mga estudyanteng ito, ay dapat na maging mabuting ehemplo at huwag kunsintihin ang pandaraya.

Nauna nang sinabi ng National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) na mino-monitor nila ang mga Facebook pages para sa online cheating.
