Duterte mas gusto ang Kamara na mag-imbestiga kaysa Senado
MANILA, Philippines — Mas gusto ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte ang ginagawang pag-iimbestiga ng Kamara sa diumano’y overpriced na face mask, face shield, at iba pang personal protective equipment na binili ng gobyerno noong nagsisimula pa lang ang pandemya kaysa Senado.
“Now, I’m happy that the House, the lower house of Congress, the House of Committee on Good Government and Public Accountability hearing --- the Committee on Good Government and Public Accountability hearing of the House of Representatives initiated a congressional inquiry into the alleged misuse of funds of certain agencies for the government’s COVID-19 response,” ani Duterte sa kanyang taped addressed na ipinalabas kahapon.
Sinabi ni Duterte na hindi makukuha ang hinahanap na sagot sa Senado dahil kay Sen. Richard Gordon na gusto ay siya na lamang ang magsasalita at isinusubo sa resource person ang gusto niyang makuhang sagot.
Idinagdag ni Duterte na binabara rin ni Gordon ang mga testigo para palabasin ang kanyang teorya ng korapsiyon.
“Hindi kumpleto kasi binabara niya to the point that the witness appears to be following his theory na may corruption. Pabalik-baliktarin niya eh. He does not allow any explanation or this resource person would elaborate on how the different events of the transaction took place,” ani Duterte.
Sinabi rin ni Duterte na mabuti pa sa Kamara kung saan hinahayaan ang mga testigo na magsalita.
Mismong ang chairman aniya ng Commission on Audit ay hindi makapagsalita ng diretso sa Senado dahil pinipigil ni Gordon kung ang sagot ay pabor sa kanyang inaakusahan.
