PSC kailangan ang tulong ng private sector

Russell Cadayona - Pang-masa

“We are trying to talk to the airline companies who can give us a good deal because there are a lot of other expenses like quarantine, PCR tests and all that,” sabi kahapon ni PSC Commissioner at Team Philippines Chef De Mission Ramon Fernandez sa ‘Power and Play’ program ni Noli Eala. “We’re hoping that we’ll be getting support from the private sector.”

“Originally, we were thinking of 1,000 dele-gation but ang natira sa last year, we were given P200 million but we spent already some and most of them because of the preparation, the training of the athletes, equipments,” ani Fernandez.

“So may natirang P71 million from last year and nabigyan tayo ng Congress ng P50 million for 2022. So we have about P121 (million),” dagdag nito.

“We’ll see where we can source out the others (funds) with the help of Cong. Bambol,” sabi ni Fernandez. “Maybe hopefully we can request for contingency or more funds from DBM as we will be able to compute how much it will cost.”
