A foodie adventure at The Filinvest Tent

MANILA, Philippines - The Filinvest Tent in Alabang, Muntinlupa City holds ‘’The Food and Beverage Expo – South” until today. 

Booths will feature different restaurants, catering companies, hotels, food products, beverages, ingredients, equipment, and concessionaires. Exhibit goers get to sample offerings from some of the exhibitors featured at the expo.

“Filipinos, in general, are a food-loving people, so we wanted an opportunity for the foodies of the South to converge and try out something different,” explains Lynn Eva, president of Tradex Specialist, event manager of the expo. “At the same time, food is a very dynamic industry so we also wanted an event where they can showcase their products.

Eva recognizes the development boom not just in the South metro, but also in surrounding provinces such as Laguna and Cavite.

“The South is continuing to boom. Money is coming into these areas. There are even companies that are relocating to the South,” Eva says. “I think it’s about time to host an event like this in the South. It’s not just an opportunity for foodies to converge, they could even find companies or businesses to partner with should they be interested to get into the food industry as well.”

The Filinvest Tent is a premier development of FilinvestAlabang Inc. in Filinvest City, Alabang, Muntinlupa City. It features a 2,000-sq.m. fully covered and air-conditioned hall with an apex height of 12 meters. The tent also has first-class amenities that include a 400-sq.m. pre-function fully air-conditioned lobby, a VIP/holding area, a canopied driveway.
