Gymnastics academy sa Cebu suportado ng PSC

MANILA, Philippines — Bilang suporta sa Gymnastics Academy of Cebu (GAC) ay nagbigay ang Philippine Sports Commission (PSC) ng gymnastics equipment.

Ang gymnastics gym na itatayo sa Labangon E­lementary School ay sasailalim sa renovation at lalagyan ng mga showers, locker rooms at iba pang facilities.

“We initially donated 23 rubber landing mats on Monday, and we are expected to send more equipment to get them started on their grassroots sports development,” wika ni PSC oversight commissioner for Visayas Ramon Fernandez.

Idinagdag ng PSC Commissioner na magpapadala pa ang sports agency ng isang complete set ng balance beams, high, horizontal at parallel bars, pommel horses, flex floor systems at spotting blocks, trampolines, vaults at spring boards.

Gagawin ito ng PSC sa oras na lumuwag ang qua­rantine restriction sa Cebu.

“Once Metro Manila goes to GCQ, we will be sending these equipment right away, as tasked by Chairman (William) Ramirez,” ani Fernandez.

Nakikipagtulungan din ang GAC sa Department of Education (DepEd) sa pagpapagamit ng gym­nasiums sa Labangon Elementary School at Guadalupe E­lementary School para sa gymnastics.
