Sports malaki ang papel sa pagkakaisa ng sambayanan—Duterte
MANILA, Philippines — Naniniwala si Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte na malaki ang gagampanan ng sports para sa pagkakabuklod ng mga Pinoy sa harap ng mga mabibigat na problema.
Pormal na binuksan kahapon ng Presidente ang National Sports Summit 2021 sa isang virtual rites via zoom.
“This online sports lecture-forum is indeed timely as we turn to sports as a means to move forward and engendered national unity especially as we deal with a COVID-19 pandemic,” wika ng Pangulo sa kanyang recorded video message.
Dahil sa COVID-19 pandemic ay nabigo ang PSC na maidaos ang nasabing sports summit.
“Conducting this initiative through this online platform proves that sports can still be a tool in promoting excellence and instilling pride in the hearts of our people even as we prepare for the new normal,” ani Pangulong Duterte. “I urge all the participants to continue your worthwhile endeavors so that we may empower further all Filipinos especially the youth.”
Ang NSS 2021 ay isang three-phased project ng sports agency kung saan ang lahat ng mga datos na makukuha mula sa Sports Conversations online conference ay gagamitin sa pag-iisip ng mga resolusyon.
Gagamitin ito ng mga sports leaders, lawmakers at stakeholders para sa pagpapaunlad sa Philippine sports.
