ABAP mopahigayon tulo ka adlaw referee/judges seminar
CEBU, Philippines — Ang Association of Boxing Alliances in the Philippines (ABAP) mopasiugda og officiating seminar alang sa mga boxing referees ug judges karong Abril 17-19 diha sa Hotel Fortuna.
Agi'g pagtam-bayayong sa ABAP ug Philippine Sports Commission, si ABAP-Central Visayas Regional Director Lorenzo 'Chao' Sy miorganisar ning tulo ka adlaw nga kalihukan aron i-upgrade ug lab-ason ang kaalam sa mga partsipante kabahin sa mga lagda ug regulasyon sa amateur boxing.
"Our number one purpose is mainly to upgrade the officiating capabilities of our boxing officials. Beginners are also welcome since we lacked boxing officials who are competent and adept with the boxing rules.
There are revisions to the rules that needed to be learned," matud pa ni Sy.
Gani gipadayag ni Sy nga wa'y bisan usa ka Sugboanong referee/judge ang nasakop karon sa ABAP national officials nga mao kanunay ang tahasan pag-officiate sa mga regional ug national tournaments sama sa Batang Pinoy ug Philippine National
Games.
"We hope that through this seminar we can have new officiating officials from Cebu who can officiate in national events. However, one of the objectives of this seminar is to professionalize the ranks of our officiating. We wanted to promote the safety of our boxers by having a competent and knowledgeable officials," dugang pa ni Sy.
Sila si Ludy Therese Ceriales ug Alvin Azucena maoy gikuha nga mga resource persons sa seminar.
Si Ceriales maoy labing una ug bugtong nga Pinay international referee/judge ug usa ka dakong opisyal sa ABAP, samtang si Azucena usa ka national referee/judge.
Ang seminar fee nagkantidad og P1,000 matag entrante.
