PetroGazz gustong makabawi sa Creamline
MANILA, Philippines — Lumasap ng straight set loss ang PetroGazz sa Creamline sa Game 1 ng PVL Open Conference best-of-three championship series.
Ngunit walang puwang sa Gazz Angels ang salitang suko.
Kaya’t inaasahang reresbak ito sa Cool Smashers sa Game 2 ng serye bukas sa The Arena sa San Juan City.
“We’re not able to perform what we’re supposed to do,” ani Gazz Angels head coach Arnold Laniog matapos anihin ng kanyang tropa ang 14-25, 22-25, 25-27 kabiguan sa Cool Smashers noong Miyerkules.
Kailangang ilabas ng GazzAngels ang lahat ng pakpak nito para muling makalipad, makabalik sa porma at maipuwersa ang rubber match sa serye.
“We knew that Creamline would play to that level but the problem was we were not able to measure up. They controlled us with their attacks, particularly from the wings,” ani Laniog.
Nagpahirap sa Gazz Angels sina Creamline top hitters Alyssa Valdez at Jema Galanza na kumana ng pinagsamang 31 puntos.
Kaya naman gagawa ng game plan ang PetroGazz para pigilan ang produksiyon nina Valdez at Galanza.
