Alvarez nagbunga ang pagrenda kay What A Feeling

MANILA,Philippines — Bumandera ang Kentucky-bread colt na What A Feeling sa 2019 Philippine Racing Commission 3YO Imported/Local Challenge Race noong Linggo sa San Lazaro Leisure Park sa Carmona, Cavite.

Ang What A Feeling, ang mga magulang na Flashback (sire) at Rougeole (dam) ay mga Kentucky, USA horses, ay iginiya sa panalo ni jockey Mark A. Alvarez sa 1,600-meter race na naglatag ng total purse na P1,500,000 kasama ang P900,000 para sa mananalo.

“Pinaremate ko lang ang kabayo ko. Split second lang po ang pag-iisip natin, sabi ko susugalan ko na lang ito, dahil sa isip ko, ‘yun ang ika-papanalo namin,” ani Alvarez.

Inungusan ng What A Feeling ang hamon ng To It’s Si Bing sa huling 300 metro para kunin ang panalo.

Nakuntento ang To It’s Si Bing nina horse owner Bingson Tecson at jockey MM Gonzales sa runner-up purse na P337,500  habang naibulsa ng Will To Win nina owner Wally B. Manalo at jockey CP Henson ang P187,500.

Tinanggap ni owner Allan Keith Castro ang tropeo para sa What A Feeling mula kina Philracom Executive Director Andrew Rovie Buencamino, Manila Jockey Club manager Jose Magboo at deputy J-Fel Cuevas.

Ang iba pang mga nanalo ay ang Buckingham Palace (Race 1), Yes Kitty (Race 2), Amelia (Race 3), Genie Hello (Race 5), Ifyourhonorplease (Race 6), Daan Bantayan (Race 7), Native American (Race 8), Cost Less (Race 9), The Accountant (Race 10), Magtotobetsky (Race 11) at Hamlet (Race 12).
