Grupo sa mga abogado umolon aron moimbestigar sa KTV Bar

CEBU, Philippines — Ang Cebu City Legal Office mag-umol og usa ka team sa mga abogado nga mosusi kabahin sa  insidente sa pagluwas sa mga menor de edad sa gipahigayong anti-trafficking operation niadtong Domingo.

Si Attorney Rey Gealon, legal counsel sa siyudad nibutyag nga mao kini ang mando ni Mayor Edgardo Labella nga ipaubos sa imbestigasyon ang KTV Bar nga anaa sa General Maxilom Avenue diin ang 28 ka tawo lakip ang 11 ka menor de edad na-rescue.

“I will convene a team of lawyers to look into the matter and will forward a recommendation, especially on the propriety of the issuance of cease and desist order on the operations of the KTV Bar, eventual revocation of its business permit, then its closure, if need be”, matud ni Gealon.

Sayo pa, si Labella nipadayag nga dili siya magduha-duha sa pag-isyu sa closure order batok sa establisamento kon mapamatud-an nga responsable kini sa giingong trafficking.

Gipasabot ni Gealon nga magpahigayon ang iyang opisina og hearing kabahin sa insidente diin ang tag-iya sa maong KTV Bar gipatawag aron makapadayag sa ilang eksplinasyon.

Matud ni Gealon nga adunay mga basehan si Labella sa pagluwat og kamandoan sa pagpasirado sa patigayon ubos sa “due process of law”.

Si Gealon nisubay sa Akta Republika 7610 ug Akta Republika 10364 nga nagtugot sa mga ahensiya sa gobiyerno pagpasirado sa mga establisamento nga adunay nahimong kalapasan og nalambigit sa human trafficking. (/BDB)(BANATNEWS)
