Kapag natuloy ang Pacquiao-Provodnikov fight Roach manonood na lang sa TV

MANILA, Philippines - Kung matutuloy ang paghaharap nina Manny Pacquiao at Ruslan Provodnikov sa Nobyembre 22 ay posibleng manood na lamang ng telebisyon sa kanyang tahanan si chief trainer Freddie Roach.

Ito ang biro ng five-time Trainer of the Year awardee nang tanungin sa press conference nina Provodnikov, ang World Boxing Organization (WBO) light welterweight king, at challenger Chris Algieri.

“I have both fighters and I would hate to lose one of them, one of the fighters. But, the thing is if the demand does come again, we’re going to have to let it happen and it’d be a sad day for me,” ani Roach. “But the thing is, I probably sit both fights out and just watch it on TV myself.”

Muling napasakamay ni Pacquiao ang kanyang WBO welterweight crown matapos resbakan si Timothy Bradley, Jr. sa kanilang rematch noong Abril.

Kung hindi papayag ang kampo ni Juan Ma­nuel Marquez na labanan si Pacquiao sa pang-li­mang pagkakataon ay posibleng si Provodnikov na ang itapat sa Sarangani Congressman.

“Manny is my number one guy and so forth. But, Ruslan’s very close to me. And Ruslan’s been a very hard worker. But, the demand is getting closer and closer, so with the win here it could happen,” sabi pa ni  Roach.

Nakatakdang itaya ni Provodnikov ang kanyang WBO light welterweight belt laban kay Algieri sa Hunyo 14 sa Barclays Center sa Brooklyn.

Ikinukunsidera rin ni Arum na ilaban kay Pacquiao si Argentinian welterweight Carlos Abregu.
