Isabelinos makikipagsarguhan sa mga pambato ng bansang pool masters
Santiago City, Philippines - Makikipagtagisan ang ilang Isabelino cue artists kontra sa mga de-kalibreng pool players sa pagsargo ng Isabela leg ng Manny Villar Cup sa La Salette High School dito.
Makikipaglaban ang mga ito sa limang nalalabing slots para sa 32-man draw ng Senator Manny Villar’s Villards: Tulong sa Pagsulong ng Philippine sports.
Bukod sa tsansang masubukan ang kanilang husay sa tulad nina Efren “Bata” Reyes at defending leg winner Francisco “Django” Bustamante, ang stage 1 survivors ay makikipaglaban para sa P800,000 premyo na nakataya sa event na inorganisa ng Billiards Managers and Players Association of the Philippines at hatid ng Camella Communities at may basbas ng Billiards and Snooker Congress of the Philippines.
“We want to give those aspiring players from the countryside more chances to realize their dreams of joining our elite crop of world-class billiards players that’s why we’ve decided to give them more slots,” ani BMPAP president Atty. Vic Rodriguez.
