Museo Pambata Christmas cards support literacy campaign

-

MANILA, Philippines - Send out Christmas cards that will not only bring Yuletide cheer to the recipients but will be meaningful all year round.

For the last 12 years, Museo Pambata has had a Christmas card fundraising campaign that supports its Mobile Library program, an outreach reading program that brings the joys of books and storytelling to underserved children.

This Christmas, Museo Pambata again offers its card collection in packs of ten. Designed for free by four of the country’s leading artists and children’s book designers, the cards depict the Christmas spirit of Filipino children and families: “Christmas Eve Dinner” by Robert Alejandro, “Christmas Angel” by Beth Parrocha-Doctolero, “Patintero sa Bisperas ng Pasko” by Jo Ann Bereber-Gando, and “Christmas Tarsier” by Pepper Roxas.

Each card comes with a detachable bookmarker. The cards are available at the Pasalubong Shop at Museo Pambata on Roxas Blvd. corner South Drive, Rizal Park, Manila. Bulk orders are also accepted.

For details, call 523-1797 or email [email protected].
