Medical equipment donated to Pampanga hospital

-

MEXICO, Pampanga, Philippines – Some P40-million worth of slightly used medical equipment from the World Medical Relief Inc. (WMR) in Detroit, Michigan, will be donated to the municipal government here.

This was announced recently by Mayor Teddy Tumang after he met and talked with Dr. George Samson, chairman of WMR during his visit to the United States last month.

According to Tumang, Samson promised that the organization will deliver the medical equipment and supplies by October.

“The said donation will be of great use to the soon-to-be completed Mexico Community Hospital which was build through the efforts of Rep. Aurelio Gonzales (3rd district of Pampanga),” said Tumang.

He added that he has urged the Municipal Council to pass a resolution giving recognition to Dr. Samson and declare him as an adopted son of Mexico.

The equipment includes dialysis machines, x-ray machines, dental chairs, hospital beds and others. – Ric Sapnu
