Burger & Lobster opens in Manila
It’s finally here.
Manila’s dining scene is about to get a taste of London’s world-famous Burger & Lobster restaurant as it finally opens in the Philippines.
It’s been so many years since I got to taste their delicious lobster rolls. The last time I had this was in London when I still had hair!
Founded in 2011 on a rooftop in London by four friends who set out with a simple idea to focus on just two ingredients and make them the best they could possibly be, Burger & Lobster has since opened other branches in New York, Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, Bangkok and Kuwait.
Known for its juicy burgers and fresh wild-caught lobsters, Burger & Lobster brings its philosophy to Manila — where luxury meets casual indulgence in every bite.
Burger and Lobster Manila just opened about a week ago at SM Aura Premier in Taguig City. Guests can expect a fun feast cracking lobster claws open and savoring juicy burgers. The sign inside says “An Elegant Mess” and the server’s shirts say, “There is no time for table manners,” so use your hands and crack open those lobsters! Biodegradable bibs and gloves are provided but I’d personally use my (washed) hands without gloves!

The Manila branch will serve signature classics such as The Original Burger – 100 percent prime grilled beef in a brioche bun, paired with Burger & Lobster’s secret burger sauce; Wild Canadian Lobster flown in fresh and these succulent whole lobsters can be grilled and/or steamed, served with lemon butter garlic sauce; and the famous Lobster Roll- a buttery toasted brioche filled with tender lobster meat and Japanese mayonnaise.
The Manila branch will have two new dishes — Surf & Turf Platter: half a kilo of short ribs with a choice of half or whole lobster, steamed or grilled, served with lemon garlic butter sauce, peppercorn sauce, fries, and salad and the exclusive Honcho Burger — a smashed double-patty burger with sautéed button mushrooms, cheese, onions, and peppercorn-cream sauce that will only be available in Manila!
Diners can also enjoy the Lobster Mac & Cheese which offers a rich, creamy bite. For a spicy kick, the Spicy Chili Lobster features Canadian lobster in tangy chili sauce, served with garlic butter rice. A good deal for two people would be the Burger & Lobster Combo 2, which features a whole Canadian lobster (half grilled and half steamed), a lobster roll, The Mayfair — a burger with Australian Wagyu patties, pickles, tomatoes, cheese, lettuce, bacon, and their secret burger sauce, lemon garlic butter, and salad.
