Exploring the best in Chinese cuisine
It was an evening of authentic Chinese flavors and fine camaraderie at the opening of the No. 8 China House restaurant in Grand Hyatt Manila in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig.
The event, led by GT Capital Holdings Inc. chairman Arthur Ty, Bonifacio Landmark Realty and Development Corp. director Hans Hauri and Grand Hyatt Manila general manager Gottfried Bogensperger, commenced with traditional blessing, pig-cutting and eye-dotting ceremonies, and lion dance for good luck. These were presided over by feng shui master Princess Lim.

Distinguished guests enjoyed the sumptuous Cantonese dishes expertly prepared by chef de cuisine Carson Luo with the assistance of restaurant manager Alex Ho.
Poised to become Metro Manila’s latest destination for authentic Chinese cuisine, No. 8 China House boasts a modern space with show kitchens and live stations where guests can marvel at the feast being prepared before them — the star of which is the Peking Duck that is slow-roasted in a wood-fired oven.
