WATCH: Manila police, SWAT respond to shooting incident in Malate
MANILA, Philippines — At least eight suspects were arrested on Thursday following a shooting incident in Malate, Manila.
A report from The STAR said that one of the suspects indiscriminately fired his gun while walking along M.H. Del Pilar Street in Malate, Manila. This was caught in the CCTV.
Barangay officials then called the authorities for help.
The Manila Police District and Special Weapons and Tactics personnel immediately responded to the incident.
The suspects reportedly involved six males and two females aboard three vehicles in black, white and yellow.
They were then apprehended along Quirino Avenue where the vehicles were seen and are now under the custody of MPD Station 9. The vehicles are also under the police custody.
