WATCH: 'Real test of democracy is prosperity for all'

MANILA, Philippines — Joey Concepcion, the founder of Go Negosyo and President Rodrigo Duterte's adviser for entrepreneurship, remembered the events that led to what he called the "most peaceful revolution," which ushered the reestablishment of democracy,

Concepcion, who is also vice chair of the EDSA People Power Commission, said democracy made prosperity possible for many. But it should not stop there.

"The challenge is to see how democracy works for all," he said in a speech on February 25, the anniversary of the revolt which deposed a decades-long dictatorship.

"To me the real test of democracy is the creation of greater prosperity for all Filipino people," Concepcion added.
