Video of the Day: Lea Salonga's 'A Whole New World' could still give us the chills
MANILA, Philippines - Lea Salonga claimed the international spotlight recently after her video singing the world famous Disney song “A Whole New World” went viral.
The video shows the Broadway performer singing a duet with Il Divo. It was uploaded five months ago as part of the European leg tour, “A Musical Affair,” but gained renewed attention from the netizens when it was posted by ET online.
Lea Salonga gained International acclaim in her field when she reaped awards for her role as Kim in Miss Saigon. Furthermore, she made a theatrical history when she was dubbed as the first Asian to play the role of Eponine, and later on Fantine in Les Miserables on Broadway.
