Pacquiao vs McGregor lumilinaw

MANILA, Philippines — Posibleng matuloy sa susunod na taon ang inaabangang salpukan nina eigt-division world champion Manny Pacquiao at Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) superstar Conor McGregor.

Ito ang inihayag ni Arnold Vegafria, ang business manager ni Pacquiao sa Pilipinas kung saan nilinaw nitong walang magiging aberya ang pagpirma ng Pinoy champion sa Paradigm Sports Management (PSM).

Mas magiging madali aniya na maikasa ang Pacquiao-McGregor fight dahil nasa iisang management team na ang dalawang mahusay na fighters.

“With a possible fight with (Conor) McGregor because they have the same company so definitely there’s a big chance that they will fight. Next year na ‘yan,” ani Vegafria.

Magandang option aniya ang Pacquiao-McGregor bout sakaling hindi matuloy ang rematch nina Pacquiao at undefeated American pug Floyd Mayweather Jr.

“Who’s the best big mega bout? It’s either McGregor or (Floyd) Mayweather is available for the senator. If ever the fight against Mayweather doesn’t happen, at least we have another one which is McGregor. So they are in the same company so there’s a possibility that it will happen,” ani Vegafria.

Naniniwala si Vegafria na kayang tumabo ng limpak-limpak ang Pacquiao-McGregor gaya ng mga sinasabi ng mga boxing experts sa Amerika.

Parehong popular sina Pacquiao at McGregor sa kani-kaniyang mundo kaya’t hahatak ito ng fans mula sa iba’t ibang panig ng mundo.

“Senator Manny Pacquiao’s former agreements do not legally bind him in such a way as to prevent him from pursuing certain fights with other promo-ters,” ani Vegafria.

Isiniwalat din ni Vegafria na ang PSM ang magi-ging tulay sa susunod na laban ni Pacquiao.

Nakatakdang depensahan ni Pacquiao ang kanyang World Boxing Association (WBA) welterweight belt ngunit wala pang opsiyal na pangalan kung sunod ang makakalaban nito.

Nariyan sina Errol Spence, Mikey Garcia, Danny Garcia at Shawn Porter sa mga pinagpipilian.

“The previous agreement has no impact on the ability of Paradigm Sports to negotiate on behalf of Senator Manny Pacquiao going forward. Manny is now represented by Paradigm Sports Management, who are actively negotiating his future fight options,” dagdag ni Vegafria.
