A big boost to socio-economic development

I just want to express my gratefulness and excitement that our newly crowned Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray want to enlist as a reservist in the Army. As a licensed pediatric doctor and a proud member of the AFP’s Reservist Force, I believe that Miss Universe Catriona Gray’s advocacy is a big help to our mission particularly in socioeconomic development and in helping in operation and maintenance of essential government and private services.

Where, like me as a pediatric doctor, together with the other men and women of different professions who decided to join the reservists of the AFP we believe that this is the best way that we can help our fellow Filipinos who are incapable of going to hospitals because of the absence of financial capability.

The reserve force of the AFP is looking forward to this possibility of Ms Gray joining the Army reservists so hand in hand we can help society and we both could see the smile in the face of children not only in Tondo, but whole Philippines. Thank you. – Maria Christina Lim, Quezon City
