Julia ayaw nang magmukmok, piniling mag-move on

Nalampasan na nga ni Julia Barretto ang malaking unos sa buhay niya recently kung saan nga ay left and right ang pang-aakusa sa kanya at pangba-bash dahil sa pagkaka-link niya kay Gerald Anderson, gayundin ang break-up nila ni Joshua Garcia.

Sa guesting niya sa recent episode ng I Fell U online show ni Toni Gonzaga, ani Julia ay naging grateful na lang daw siya sa mga nangyari at ito ang naging dahilan for her to move forward.

“I chose to look the other way. I always say this but it’s true. That when you have a grateful heart, instead of questioning the things around you or questioning the things that are happening to you, instead of complaining, parang mas magaan sa loob ‘yung grateful ka na lang na nangyayari ‘to sa ‘yo,” ani Julia.

Alam daw niyang inihahanda lang siya for the bigger battles na darating pa sa buhay niya dahil hindi naman daw talaga ito natatapos.

Sa halip na magmukmok at mag-dwell ay mas pinili raw niya to move forward.

“Hindi gagalaw ang buhay ko nu’n, eh, if I get stuck there. So again, you know, I’m only 23, I believe there’s still so many. . .at that time, I knew  I was confident that there was still so many beautiful things in store for me.

“Parang ‘kung susuko ba ako ngayon, ano na lang ang mangyayari sa buhay ko, ang bata-bata ko pa.’ So what I did was you know, find the lesson in what happened, surrender, let it go, let things happen and then you just let life go on,” she said.

And the lesson that she has learned?

“My biggest lesson was just keep going, just keep moving forward until the next battle, ‘di ba? Parang ‘okay, this is what I learned.’ Then the next one, then the next one. I mean, it will never end.

“So, the biggest lesson was don’t get stuck. Because eventually, things are going to be okay,” pahayag ni Julia.

Ang DOTSPh ay ang kauna-unahang Philippine TV program na tumanggap ng nasabing recognition from the annual global festival. Kasama ring nagwagi ng serye ang dalawa pang foreign dramas na Snowpiercer produced by US broadcaster TNT at ang The New Pope produced by Sky Atlantic and HBO.

The prestigious award ceremony selected GMA’s Pinoy version among several remakes that originated from the KBS drama aired in South Korea in 2016, highlighting the infuence of K-drama not only in Asia but also around the world.

Ang DOTSPh ay pinagbibidahan nina Kapuso Primetime King Dingdong Dantes and Ultimate Star Jennylyn Mercado as alpha team leader Captain Lucas Manalo and cardio-thoracic surgeon Dr. Maxine Dela Cruz, otherwise dearly known as ‘Big Boss’ and ‘Beauty’ respectively.

Nagsimula ang serye last February at hindi pa nga ito tapos dahil naabutan na ng pandemya.
