Banat Opinyon

Vice presidential debate

IYO ANTOY - Antolin dela Cerna - Banat

Mipadayon si Braid: “In fact some say it was much more riveting than the Pacquiao-Bradley match which happened several hours earlier. It kept a large audience captivated and entertained. It had more quotable quotes.”

Allan Cayetano, as usual, was articulate who always does his homework, full of statistics and information at his command. “Sen. Trillanes too, did well; he didn’t waste words in getting his points across.

“Sen. Gringo Honasan has been a disappointment to me. For a rebel soldier, his Senate career has been characterized by consistent conformity with the establishment.

“Sen. Bongbong Marcos appeared to have inherited some of his father’s oratory skills.  But the bottom line on the 58-year-old Bongbong is that it would be a tragedy for the entire nation to have another Marcos elected to a high national position.

“Sen. Francis Escudero. He always speaks like he’s delivering a speech. He sounds unnatural and insincere.”

Padayon ni Braid: “All the male candidates are senators with considerable experience as legislators. But it was neophyte LP’s Leni Robredo, first term representative, who emerged winner with 242 votes in a survey of 582 netizens, followed by Cayetano.”

Gidasonan kini ni Coronel: “Robredo stood up to the men with grace & intelligence. She ended with a closing winning style: ‘May the best woman win.’

So, there you are.
