Unite for God’s truth

The camp of the children of previous presidents is loudly calling for the opposition to concede soonest. With the landslide win of their candidates, the opposition should accept the clear mandate of the Filipino people.

The Marcos camp forgets, perhaps, that they and Marcos Jr. did not want to concede defeat either.

Not even if several recounts and the courts were clear about the 2016 election results, Marcos Jr. and his supporters did not let up on their electoral protest which stretched out to 5 years!

Oh, the Marcos Jr. camp will quickly retort – “but Leni won by a questionable, slim margin of only 263,473 votes!”

To review, Robredo was “declared the winner on May 27, 2016 after the closing of the canvassing of 11 certificates of canvas with a total of 14,418,817 votes versus 14, 155,344 votes for Marcos Jr.”

By June 11, 2016, Marcos Jr. announced that he will file an electoral protest before the Presidential Electoral Tribunal (PET) “to find out the truth.”

By February 16, 2021, “after almost five years, the 15 members of the Presidential Electoral Tribunal unanimously dismissed the entire electoral protest of Marcos vs. Robredo.” (For more details about the timeline of this Marcos-Robredo electoral protest, refer to

The Marcos camp insists now that the 2022 landslide 31 million+ votes for Marcos Jr. is a clear call for Robredo’s camp to concede soonest!

However, “was 2022 really a landslide?”

Not only Mahar Mangahas, columnist/economist/Social Weather Stations head but million others are asking this same question.

If the Marcos camp genuinely wants an early concession from the Robredo camp, can they unite with the opposition to prove the truth, God’s truth, about the last elections?

Can the Marcos camp, together with the opposition, show proof about the integrity of the electoral process and results?

Specifically, can they join the opposition in asking for “independent and speedy investigations of these reported irregularities (- defective VCMs (vote counting machines) that disenfranchised voters; election returns not released to the Parish Pastoral Council for Responsible Voting (PPCRV); voting receipts stored in unsecured cardboard boxes; reports of widespread vote buying, and alleged electronic vote rigging -) mentioned In a petition now being routed at this site -https://www.change.org/p/investigate-the-2022-philippine-elections ?

Can the Marcos camp present the truth, God’s truth, about these issues raised by Prof. Ed Garcia, one of the framers of the 1987 Constitution and a former teacher at the University of the Philippines and the Ateneo, that their camp did not engage “in a deviously prepared campaign of disinformation, deception and the dumbing down of politics funded by ill-gotten wealth stashed in secret accounts,” where “our own history has been revised and facts replaced by perception?”

Can the Marcos camp show irrefutable evidence to reject this statement of Prof. Ed Garcia:

“NOT EVEN THIRTY-ONE MILLION PEOPLE can convince me that a lie is the truth. Numbers do not convert a wrong into something that is right. I cannot live in a moral universe where you determine truth or judge what is morally right by the raising of hands.”

To put a decisive end to the allegation made by Robredo supporters that “Sa COMELEC lang po kami talo, HINDI sa mata ng may gawa ng LANGIT at LUPA” and since many are questioning the COMELEC and their “quantifying the 2022 cyberwar victory,” will the Marcos camp join in genuinely investigating  COMELEC’s alleged “ 2 transparency servers or one pre-programmed (68:32 proportion) one? Can the Marcos camp unite with the opposition in compelling COMELEC to open the genuine transparency server used for the May 2022 elections?”

If the Marcos camp want the opposition to concede, then, this challenge: unite to show God’s truth, that the landslide millions are genuine, not human/machine orchestrated.
