Watch for the signs

FLASHFLOODS. After watching how raging waters swept some people away in a waterfall in Catmon town, an EAR source said flashfloods like that often happen in the waterfalls in Cebu City that only few know about, especially during the rainy season.

The source, who grew up in the hinterlands, also said there are warning signs to watch for, although sometimes the flood just happens without warning.

“Paminaw kung naay nagdagunong,” he said.
