No signal means no text

MISSED COMMUNICATION. A woman was mad at boyfriend after he allegedly refused to answer her texts and calls on Sinulog Grand Parade day. The woman, who lived outside Cebu City, was convinced he was deliberately ignoring her.

After he told her there was signal shutdown that day, she didn’t believe it. That changed after she read the newspaper.

“Da, mao na. Di man gud mobasa og balita,” the boyfriend was heard chastising her.
