Helpers becoming harder to come by

NOT MAID FOR THIS JOB. After having a hard time finding a helper in Cebu City, a woman reached out to relatives in her home province, which is known to be a good source of cheap labor. However, her relatives there said even in their barangay, helpers are in high demand and supply is short.

“Sayon naman gud makakwarta. Mamenpal na og foreigner. Wa na’y gusto mag-maid,” she told The EAR.
