Laudable move
The decision of Pres. Duterte to close the PCSO makes many Filipinos happy. Because the said office is riddled with corruption prompted Pres. Digong to fire its former head. And like a house which is in a greatly dilapidated condition, repairing is more costly then building a new one, is perhaps the primary reason why the president demolished the said institution and will create perhaps a new office devoid of former corrupt officials. However, if I were the president I would permanently close the said office because as I see it, more harm than good is derived by its existence. Here's the reason, to wit:
1.) It is greatly corrupted, hence more of its profit goes to the pocket of the favored few instead of going to the government coffers;
2.) Gambling is an addictive vice and many, because of the alluring prize, will gamble even if the money is greatly needed for food and or other necessary expenses;
3.) Its existence will make millions of Filipinos gamblers, and let us bear in mind the saying that says “the street of gambling is the surest and quickest way to reach the town of poverty.”
Thank you, President Digong for such a wise and laudable move. For the undescerning mind they may be critical to what you did but I'm sure that they too eventually will realize that you did this for the good of all.
May your tribes increase!
