THE EAR - The Freeman

A group of around 15 Badjao people, mostly old women, rode a jeepney to downtown Cebu City. They tagged along with them beddings, baskets of clothes, cartons, and other dwelling stuff.

An EAR informer could not help but notice that they were too loud. A Badjao child, probably three years old, who was seated next to her young mother, possibly 15 or 16, begged for coins from every passenger that came in. When they arrived at their destination, they disembarked, not having paid their fares.
