The fear is still there

HANGYO LANG. Have people gotten over their fear of “tokhang”? Not in this mountain barangay in Cebu City. It’s a small place where everybody knows everybody, so residents can spot new faces immediately.

And suspicion grows whenever new faces appear and ask around about the whereabouts of some locals.

A resident told The EAR that in all likelihood a stranger who comes looking for someone will have a hard time finding him or her because of the wariness of the locals.a
