The long wait

THE EAR - The Freeman

1,049… A man lining up to get a priority number to transact with a government office found his number in the four-digit range. He went home, had lunch, took a nap, then returned to the government office. Even then he still had to wait for his number to be called.

But he still considers himself lucky compared to those who had to wait for hours there.

“Maayo na lang duol ra amo, ang uban gikan pa sa probinsya tanto gyung huwat,” he said.
