Pursuing the Sabah claim

BLACK GOLD. There are different opinions regarding the proposal to reclaim Sabah, that part of Malaysia that once belonged to the Philippines. Some netizens said we shouldn’t bother because we are already having a hard time administrating the Philippine archipelago as it is, and there is no need to add a huge landmass far from the capital city.

Others said there is a good reason to pursue the Sabah claim; oil.

“Kung ma-ato na ang Sabah, modato g’yud ang Pilipinas,” one of them said.

“Ang Pinas o ang mga politiko?” another countered.
