Balikbayan scared of jeepneys

“PUJOPHOBIA.” A woman who is on a vacation here in the Philippines said she doesn’t feel safe riding Public Utility Jeepneys anymore, this even if she spent more than half her life here in Cebu City before leaving for the states.

When asked why, she said she has seen a lot of videos online of PUJ passengers being harassed or robbed, and she no longer feels safe riding in one although she used to.

“Bahala’g ma-pordoy ko og tinaxi basta di na g’yud ko ganahan mag-jeep,” she was heard telling relatives.
