From my treat, to Dutch treat

KKBBQ. What was supposed to be a treat by two newly-hired men for their friend who had yet to find employment turned into a KKB (kanya-kanyang bayad) after the two men found out they could not afford to pay for everything.

The two took their friend to a famous barbecue spot and told him to pick whatever he wanted. But when the bill became higher than what they could afford their friend decided to pay his own way.

“Sunod mamangka mo, siguroa sakto inyong budget,” the man was heard telling his friends.
