UP grads receive Flora Zarco Rivera Gender and Development Award Awards

MANILA, Philippines — University of the Philippines-Diliman graduates Grace Santos and Ferdinand Medina received the Flora Zarco Rivera Gender and Development Award (FZR-GAD) on Mar. 12. Santos, a registered nurse at the UP Health Service and Medina, a guitar teacher at UP College of Music were the first to receive the said award. FZR-GAD is an annual award for community leaders who have advocated women and empowerment and children’s rights established by the College in cooperation with the Diliman Gender Office.
