Thoughts to guide us by (For June 2017)
The recent swirling, catastrophic happenings in and out of our beloved land, and the uncertain times we all grapple with – can easily crush people with weak spirits. That we manage to ride the turbulence and violence besetting us is because tenaciously we cling to HOPE!
Hope is wishing for something better to happen. Hope buoys up our continuing expectation for a turnaround of the wheels of fortune and events that will spell better times, better life for us all!
The degree of our coping-up ability hinges on the intensity of our hope! For hope produces a tremendous strength of its own … that could spawn possibilities and opportunities – in spite of all these never-before-we-imagined-could-happen tragic events. “Never lose hope.” For hope springs eternal!
Our Motherland beacons! Fervently pray for peace. Unite to boost our economy. Patronize our very own to help provide employment. Do what we can to uplift lives. Because like day and night … peace and prosperity go inseparably together … not much use without the other!
