The us presidential elections: The final push!

In five days (Nov. 8) America will choose its next president and what a historic presidential race that this one has turned out to be. It all started with the Democratic National Convention (DNC) and the debates by the Republican Convention where party mates from both parties threw brickbats at each other lining up for the right to be the presidential nominee of their respective political parties.

In the end, the Republicans surprised the world when it choose an outsider in business mogul Donald Trump as its presidential nominee, while in the Democratic front, we’ve always known that their candidate was going to be State Secretary Hillary Clinton, despite the ill-fated attempt by contender Bernie Sanders. So after three presidential debates… this presidential race is now down to the wire  and its last five days of campaigning.

After watching all the TV discussions on this presidential race and what the US newspapers columnists have been writing, I honestly thought that this presidential race was over with Hillary Clinton just waiting to be crowned the next US president despite all the negative publicity that accompanied her campaign. One such negative was the statement of Hillary Clinton wherein she clearly stated that children inside the mother’s womb had no constitutional rights. That Hillary Clinton is the candidate of the Liberals that promote abortion even if it has been declared legal in the US is something that the Catholic Church and the Catholic faithful abhor.

Just to give you a glimpse of American statistics on abortion, there were a million abortions in the US in the Year 2012 and a million a year before that. So from 1973 to 2011, nearly 53 million babies were aborted! Again let me point out that abortion is legal in the US, but so was slavery at one time until they had a civil war. So the question is… has God closed his eyes at what is happening in the US today, where millions of innocent babies inside their mother’s wombs are killed because it has been declared as legal?

So back to the US presidential race, which I already said was over and one with Hillary Clinton as the clear victor. But wait! Last Oct. 31 US Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) Director James Comey made a 180-degree turn and reopened the investigation on the server of Hillary Clinton after repeatedly testifying last July before the US Congress that he did not find any criminal wrongdoing against Clinton during her four years as State Secretary. This happened just barely a week before Americans go to the polls. Something beyond someone’s control is happening here.

This presidential campaign is now clearly divided between the Liberals and Conservatives… between those who abort innocent babies and those who believe that babies inside a woman’s womb also have the right to life. But then again, what are the choices for America? The anti-abortionists will never vote for Hillary Clinton…but then if you looked at Donald Trump and see what he has done to those woman who suddenly remembered being groped by him 20 or 30 years ago… something is wrong with the picture.

I have friends living in the US who are at a loss on whom to vote even at this crucial time. My advise to them is… when your politics fail you, you must take the view of a Christian because Christian values come from God. Again we must take a second look at Donald Trump who during the last debate openly declared that he was Pro-Life. But what about his sordid past?

I read an American preacher say that we should never deny what Trump did in his past life…but those woman that came out against him (it doesn’t matter whether they were there for the money or not) and humiliated him was a way of cleansing this very public sinner. Whom God uses… he makes the person humble first. While in the case of Hillary Clinton, she never apologized for destroying those emails… for Benghazi and worse for the scandal that the Clinton Foundation has been exposed.

To make matters worse for the Clinton campaign, Cable Network News (CNN) which many pundits say is the Clinton Network News suddenly severed its ties with the Democratic Strategist Donna Braile after Wikileaks showed that she shared questions in advance to boost Hillary Clinton’s debate with Trump. What was once spoken in closed doors has now been blown out in the open. Shame on CNN for cheating the American people!

With the investigation of former New York Congressman Anthony Weiner, estranged husband of Huma Abedin, Hillary Clinton’s closest aide, which have been blown open wide… suddenly Donald Trump’s chances have vastly improved. Call it the wrath of God if you wish… or Karma. I just hope that in their desperation… the Soros owned voting companies bearing the name Smartmatic used 16 states won’t be used to cheat the US elections
