TARIFF. A Facebook user posted on a group page a purported memo on proposed Kaohsiung bus rental tariff. This memo bears the signature of Acting Mayor Margot Osmeña.

POOR. How can the poor city residents afford to pay the rental of the Kaohsiung buses. The rental ranges from P1,000 to P2,000, depending on the destination. This Facebook user said on his post that Kaohsiung buses were rented out to city residents during excursions or burials.

NOT FREE. But The Ear learned that even during the terms of previous mayors, including the incoming mayor, Kaohsiung utilization was not for free, considering the gasoline allocation and allowance for drivers for service rendered during the weekends.
