FLOWER FARMING. A lawyer engaged not in lawyering but in fulltime farming in the farm left behind by his father in the Mountain Province talked about flowers with a fellow lawyer after dinner in a local restaurant. "Flower farming is more profitable than any kind of farming," he said to his local compañero, our Ear informer.

YEAR-ROUND. He said many farmers in his province are now into flower farming. They supply the flower needs of flower shop chains not only in the Philippines but also in Hong Kong and Asean cities especially Singapore where there is no such thing as farming. "Maybe Visayan farmers can try this new trend in farming," he said.
