Too old to drive?

OLD DRIVER. Iyo Pablo (not his real name) tried to renew his driver's license (issued in Manila) but was not allowed by the LTO. Reason: He is now too old to drive at age 89. Iyo Pablo was angry.

CAREFUL. He told and Ear informer that he started driving a motor vehicle at the age of 17 and has never been nabbed for a traffic infraction, not even for once. At age 80 he won in a drag race in Bulacan where he beat other drag racers whose ages ranged from 18 to 28.
