MANILA, Philippines — An EDM party-for-a-cause and a press conference were held by XIN Marketing to promote the launch of its blockchain news website, Unblock.news.

Launched on December 14, Unblock.news is a blockchain news platform that allows cryptocurrency enthusiasts to follow the latest trends and updates in the cryptocurrency market, to connect with fellow cryptocurrency enthusiasts, and to see the prices of major cryptocurrencies in real time.

As part of its promotion, XIN Marketing held the Unblock Party on December 15, followed by a press conference on December 18.

Fun, fare, charity

The Unblock Party was an EDM-themed party celebrating the launch of Unblock.news. It also doubled as a charity event raising funds for the outreach programs of the Queen of Hearts Foundation for underprivileged children.

Everyone danced and jived to the beat of pumped up, party-rocking music and overflowing drinks offered during the event.

Atty. Rafael Padilla, co-founder of Blockchain Association of the Philippines, was there to warmly welcome guests and to give a quick introduction about cryptocurrency and blockchain technology.

Yu Onodera, developer of AIzen, also gave a quick speech introducing AIzen Project, one of the event sponsors. Other sponsors of the Unblock Party were HB Wallet, AIzen, JBCoin, EXEES, NEM, BlockChats, Cash Cart, Cestates, Moringa-O, and Akashi.

A photo contest was also held during the Unblock Party—guests had the chance to win prizes for posting photos taken during the event on Unblock Party’s Facebook event page along with the hashtag, #UnblockParty.

A check worth P100,000 was handed over to Queen of Hearts Foundation. It was received by Mrs. Philippines Asia Pacific Tourism 2018, Ma. Mitzie Go Gil, along with Toms Sapitana and Rita Dellosa, board of directors and members of the Queen of Hearts Foundation. Released

A Tap War game through Bacoor’s Ethereum wallet, HB Wallet, gave guests a chance to win tons of Ether coins.

A contest for Unblock.news users was also announced, with the following mechanics: The first user to have 1,000 followers on the website will receive P3,000, with users reaching the leaderboard for follower count winning a total of P7,500 worth of prizes. The winners will be announced on February 15, 2019.

Recognition and gift giving

A press conference on December 15 at ASPACE Philippines, Makati City ensued following the party. The event saw funds raised during the Unblock Party handed over to the Queen of Hearts Foundation. It also introduced Unblock.news and XIN Marketing’s other clients, while offering thanks to the sponsors.

Amielyn Miyaji, team leader for XIN Marketing, led the press conference, with an underscoring of Unblock.news and the different features it offers.

Fruvy D. Rivera, founder and chief executive officer of CashCart, gave a speech highlighting the CashCart’s features and services. Next was Son Truong, representative of Bacoor Vietnam, who spoke about the company’s Ethereum-based wallet. HB Wallet.
