The Friends for Cultural Concerns of the Philippines (FCCP), in celebration of its ruby anniversary, held the induction of its new set of officers and directors at the Manila Golf and Country Club in Forbes Park, Makati City.

Mimi Valerio presents a plaque of appreciation to FCCP immediate past president Tessie Rodrigo.

Inducted by FCCP past president and Guatemala Consul Mellie Ablaza were president Mimi Valerio, vice president Rose Lazaro, secretary Sol Tan Gatue, assistant secretary Marge Ortiz-Luis, treasurer Karen Macasaet, assistant treasurer Tessie Rodrigo and directors Yoli Ayson and Martin Lopez. FCCP president Mimi Valerio also inducted six new members presented by membership committee chair Terry Tambunting.

Hosted by past president Nonie Basilio, the event was spiced up by superb performances of FCCP’s music and dance scholars as guests enjoyed a sumptuous merienda cena.
