With a shared goal to promote environmental awareness and start a legacy of beauty and responsibility, Ever Bilena and its partners recently launched a zero-waste management campaign called “Responsibility beyond beauty.”

Unveiled during the event was the iECO-800, a smokeless, odorless, multi-layer pyrolysis incinerator that burns almost all kinds of solid waste.

Ever Bilena president and chief executive officer Dioceldo Sy welcomed Department of Public Works and Highways Secretary Mark Villar and several Miss Earth candidates, who demonstrated how the iECO-800 works by putting plastic bags and tires inside the machine.

Sy said, “From providing Filipinos with high-quality, affordable makeup and beauty products, we’ve taken a step towards helping preserve the beauty of our environment with this zero-waste management program.”

SM Prime executive committee chair Hans Sy, Robinsons Retail Holdings Inc. president and CEO Robina Gokongwei-Pe, Pacific Online Systems Corp. chair and president Willie Ocier, Commission on Filipinos Overseas chair Nick Acosta, Jones Lang LaSalle country head Christophe Vicic, ABS-CBN publishing president and CEO Ernie Lopez and former world boxing champion Gerry Peñalosa were also present at the event.

Top executives of Manila Doctors Hospital and Maxicare Healthcare Corp. gathered recently to inaugurate the newest Maxicare HealthHub located  at the second floor of the hospital. The one-stop health hub utilizes cutting-edge technology to streamline the process of going for a medical consultation.

Manila Doctors Hospital president Elizabeth Dantes and Maxicare president and CEO Christian Argos led the inauguration.

The automated health hub offers Maxicare members a convenient and time-saving way of getting their letter of authorization. It has a fully digitized system to manage patient queuing and make gathering of initial vital signs quick, accurate and hassle-free.

A new-generation of self-service center, the Maxicare HealthHub is a health maintenance organization-owned healthcare system that offers a relaxing and convenient way for members to access their benefits, and is especially designed to provide ease and convenience to its members.

Maxicare HealthHubs in other partner hospitals will soon be launched to help improve patient experience when going for a check-up, as well as to provide a more efficient and seamless ways to access their benefits.
