World-famous pizza now in the Philippines

Pizza lovers trooped to the Uptown Mall in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig for the opening of the newest pizza place in town — PizzaExpress Philippines. The world-famous pizza company started in London in 1965 and  is now enjoyed in over 600 restaurants in the UK, Asia and the Middle East.

The program, hosted by Stephanie Zubiri-Crespi, featured a ribbon-cutting ceremony with PizzaExpress International general manager Liam Collette, head of international business development Hakim Haouchine and brand and marketing director John Lui. They were joined by British Ambassador Daniel Pruce, Megaworld Lifestyle Malls’ Kevin Tan, Tasteless Food Group CEO Charles Paw and CFO Anna Paw.

All PizzaExpress restaurants are known for their open kitchens where diners can watch chefs prepare pizza, so it was only fitting  that the launch had a pizza-making show for the guests.
