 Best hotdogs in town

The simple re-opening of Three Guys and a Grill’s main branch in Poblacion, Makati City recently  was just a preview of exciting things to come for this amazing restaurant (and sometimes bar).

The tiny restaurant, dubbed as “the smallest club in Manila,” launched its new menu during the event. (It was also a celebration as Three Guys and a Grill got its liquor license!)

Beth Reyes-Francisco.

Proprietors Duncan Gates from New Zealand and Tom Thurnherr from Switzerland welcomed a cozy crowd, who enjoyed feasting on different types of hotdogs and sausages.

What’s good to note is that the restaurant’s breads are made onsite and the sausages are grilled fresh within the premises. When ordering, customers can choose between white and wheat bun together with the condiments of their liking. It’s also nice to know that most of the sauces available, including ketchup and guava mustard, are made from local ingredients. For those who don’t eat pork or beef, there is a chicken hotdog option. And instead of fries, the place offers root chips like kamote and cassava.

Since the Three Guys and a Grill location in Poblacion is tiny, it often gets full house! But don’t worry, there are take-out and delivery options. The place, which occasionally has a DJ spinning tunes, is frequented by expats. Drop by and grab those delicious sausages and hotdogs!

Three Guys and a Grill can now bring this gourmet sausage culture right at your own home, office or event venue as it now has custom-made hotdog grilling carts. It also has pre-made items  and now delivers large orders in its new warmer boxes that are perfect for parties, conferences, meetings or events!

(Three Guys and a Grill’s main branch is located at 4364 B. Valdez Street off Makati Avenue, Poblacion, Makati City. Other branches are located at Shangri-La Plaza Mall, Southwoods Mall and Grub Garden in Manila. For bulk order inquiries or hotdog grilling cart services, call 0917-8442195 or 507-3124.
