The beauty of Last Night

my LIPS are SEALED… sometimes… - Maurice Arcache - The Philippine Star

Belo Medical Group (BMG) recently showed love and support for its most sought-after Belo Babies Piolo Pascual and Toni Gonzaga, dahlings.

The beauty company, together with Philippine Tatler, sponsored a beautiful block screening of Last Night, the latest movie of Piolo and Toni, for its close famille and followers at Greenbelt 3’s My Cinema.

Naturellement, you know almost  all who were there, headed by BMG’s pillars, Dr. Vicki Belo, husband Dr. Hayden Kho and gorgeous daughter Cristalle Pitt, Anton San Diego, Magsaysay Group of Companies president and CEO  Doris Magsaysay-Ho, as-bubbly-as-champagne actress Ruffa Gutierrez, as well as Belo doctors Jenny de Leon, Nikki San Luis and headturner Joey Muñoz

Scarlet Snow Belo made a cameo appearance spreading cuteness (and popcorn!) everywhere she went.

Of course, the block screening would not be complete without the presence of the man and woman of the hour, jaw-dropping looker Piolo Pascual and Toni Gonzaga. The two watched the movie from beginning to end.

Piolo explained the lesson of the film further, “We always focus on our demons, sometimes we forget to focus on our angels. We have so much expectations in life and sometimes we appreciate life less. So, I guess, that’s the lesson of the film — that we should always focus on something that would give us life or would give meaning to life.”

Piolo and Toni thanked their sponsors for organizing a wonderful block screening. Toni even jokingly said, “This is more beautiful than our own premiere night.”

The block screening, according to Vicki, was BMG’s way of making sure that the beauty company would always be there to support the Belo Babies succeed in their careers.

In ‘Excess’

They all came to rock The Palace in Uptown Bonifacio, Taguig City for Revel’s second anniversary dubbed “Excess.”

In keeping with the theme, palanggas, Excess entertainers came dressed in shimmering beads and feathered headdresses as if they were at one of the roaring luxurious bashes in Great Gatsby.

During the party, entertainers in costume paraded around the venue with sparklers and bottles of alcohol in hand. Some of the revelers were dressed like characters in the hit HBO series Game of Thrones (complete with a costumed Daenerys Targaryen) and Star Wars (with Stormtroopers). A tub filled with Moët champagne bottles was also on display for guests to take photos with...only!

Revel’s collaborators for Excess, dahlings, included Moët Hennessy, Discovery Shores Boracay and Revitawater, which kept the party pumping with booze and games. Each bottle of champagne purchased that night had corresponding points. The winner received a championship belt and two Discovery Shores gift certificates. Needless to say, dahlings, this got guests sipping bubbly the whole night.

Resident DJs Keith Haw, Mars Miranda and Funk Avy kept partygoers dancing and entertained with club classics. Like the previous Revel anniversary, our palangga, southern gent JM Rodriguez gave a toast congratulating Revel, its partners, staff and guests for another memorable year of great clubbing.

The invite-only party was, naturellement, full of night owls, from The Palace partners, Erik Cua, GP Reyes, Mond Gutierrez and Fabio Ide, to some of the hottest names in Manille’s nightlife scene like KC del Rosario, Kat de Jesus and Phoemela Baranda. These show-stealers made the party even more extravagant that had the men ahhing over the gals.

The Palace, first established in 2014, is Manille’s premier nightlife and clubbing destination situated in the bustling metropolis of Bonifacio Global City. Named No. 61 in DJ Mag’s definitive list of Top 100 clubs in the world, The Palace is currently composed of four concept outlets: Valkyrie, Pool Club, Revel and Café Naya.

The Palace prides itself in bringing only the best, most sought-after live acts, making it the ultimate clubbing experience from day to night — to another day that’s still on a roll, dahlings. -Photos by Alex Van Hagen, Powered by MAC Center
